55+ Peer Support Group

The LOFT is happy to announce the start of it’s very first peer support group specifically for LGBT people 55 and older!

The group will be an open-topic, peer-led, support group created to address the specific needs, challenges, and lives of people 55+.


The 55+ Peer Support Group takes place on the 1st and 3rd Thursday afternoons of each month from 1:00pm to 2:30pm, and the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings of each month from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.

Next meeting dates:

  • November 2nd and 16th from 1:00pm-2:30pm
  • November 9th & 23rd from 7:30pm-9:00pm

LOFT Peer Support Groups are open topic drop-in groups. There is no need to preregister and no fee to attend. Donations are welcome. They are lead by facilitators who identify as peers with those in attendance.

There is no fee to attend discussion groups but a $5 donation is suggested, more if you can, less if you can’t.  Fees related to activities are to the responsibility of participants.
