Gay and Lesbian Children

A.C.C.E.P.T. Project
A Program of The Guidance Center, with meetings to be held at The LOFT. A Spring Session is forming, so contact The Guidance Center for more information.

The Guidance Center, with whom The LOFT often partners, is pleased to announce A.C.C.E.P.T. (Accepting, Connecting, Celebrating, Empowering Parents & Teens), a FREE program that supports teens and families who are dealing with the complex issues and feelings associated with discovering, exploring and embracing sexual identity.

Is your child:
  • Between the ages of 15 & 19?
  • Struggling with sexual identity issues?
  • Coming out as lesbian or gay?
Does your family:
  • Need a safe space to share their thoughts?
  • Need support from other families going through similar experiences?
A.C.C.E.P.T. provides a safe space for gay and lesbian teens and their families to share thoughts and feelings; to give and receive support; and to recognize families are not alone.

For additional information on A.C.C.E.P.T., email Mary Jane Karger, or call: 914-523-6986.
