Services Offered by Center Lane:
The Drop-In Center
Sometimes it can be difficult to find a place to just be yourself. The Drop-In Center is a safe, comfortable space
for you to do your homework (tutors are available), shoot pool, listen to music, play games, or socialize with
other GLBT youth.
Open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons at 3:00 PM.
Discussion Groups
Do you ever feel likes there's no one you can talk to honestly about your life? You are not alone!
The Open Doors Discussion Group meets every Monday night from 6:00-7:30 PM.
Girls Only Space: Our Young Women's Support Group meets twice monthly.
Guys Only Space: Our Young Men's Support Group meets once monthly.
Workshops and Activities
Participate in workshops on a variety of topics such as Homosexuality and Religion, Safer-Sex, Mural Design,
Self-Defense, and much more! Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM.
Peer Leadership Program
Does editing a newsletter, co-leading a discussion group, planning social events, or community education interest
you?
Then pick up an application for the PLP.
Counseling
Individual and family counseling with a certified social worker is available by appointment Monday through Friday.
Community Education
Center Lane provides "Gay Awareness" workshops in high schools and social service agencies throughout
Westchester.

Westchester's High School Gay/Straight Alliances meet monthly at Center Lane to share information and ideas and to
make friends.
