Pink Gavel Auction Saturday, August 28, The LOFT Auction Preview 5-7pm Books'n Things Sale 5-7pm Auction begins at 7pm Come One, Come All! You’re invited to the Pink Gavel Auction, a LOFT benefit auction of some of the finest furniture, art, jewelry, and antiques we’ve been able to obtain. Entrance is free, so come for a fun, exciting, and at times competitive evening. Refreshments of wine, beer, and other beverages will be available to loosen your bidding paddle. We’re also having a Books’n Things sale, with countless books, CDs, and DVDs! Auctioneer David Bros will call the lots as Furniture, Antiques, Art, Jewelry, Lamps, Vases, Oriental Carpets, and other unique items go up for bid. And to add some fun and excitement, displaying each lot as it's auctioned is none other than the Hudson Valley's "Queen of Auctions," Trixie Starr. How You Can Participate: A) By Donating: Do you have something of value you'd like to donate to The LOFT's Pink Gavel Auction? We're accepting donations of any of the above mentioned items, and we'll gladly give you a donation letter you can use for tax reporting purposes. B) By Consignment: Do you have something you'd like to see sold, and split the proceeds with The LOFT? We'll take your item, include it in the auction, and split the monies with you 50/50!
