Bernard Galeano joined The LOFT's Board on November 2019.  Bernard currently works for St. Johns Riverside Hospital at the HOPE Center as the Assistant Clinical Supervisor for the PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) Program in Yonkers, NY. Bernard works on educating the community on HIV/AIDS, safer sex practices and the use of PrEP as a form of HIV prevention.  Bernard worked previously for Skadden Arps in Partner Accounting for over 11 years before transitioning into a career in Social Work.   

Bernard graduated from Lehman College with a Masters in Social Work and received their licensure on November 2019.  Along the way Bernard volunteered for various organizations such as VAS (Victims Assistant Services) and The LOFT.  Bernard was raised in White Plains, NY and continues to resides in White Plains.  In his free time he enjoys spending time with friends, dining out and traveling as often as possible.
