Christopher Mitchell works in the Global Diversity Office at Mastercard, managing the company’s affirmative action plans for the entire US and supporting the company’s Business Resource Groups. He works to streamline, capture, and analyze data on ethnicity, gender, and other relevant criteria and presents the data to MasterCard leadership for the development of new recruitment, retention, and engagement plans. Prior to Mastercard, he spent several years as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at The New York Power Authority while also serving on their Diversity Committee.
Christopher graduated from Brown University with a double major in commerce, organizations and entrepreneurship and history of art and architecture with a focus on modern art, and received an MBA from New York University with a triple major in management, luxury marketing, and digital marketing. Along the way, Christopher has volunteered for numerous non-profits and charity organizations that align with his personal values, including the LOFT. He currently resides in White Plains, NY and in his free time enjoys spin class, spending time with friends, dining out and traveling around the world. He is happiest at the beach.
