Intersectionality in the LGBTQ Community

Presentation Description:

Intersectionality is the belief that all oppressive institutions overlap and can not be dismantled individually. In this presentation, we will explore and discuss our own identities, power and privilege, representation, and the experiences of those living at the intersections of multiple marginalized identities. We will also learn how to be a better ally to our friends and community, as well as making our lives and activism more intersectional.
