Joey Shearer is a Colorado native who moved to New York with his husband in 2012.  He is an interior designer who enjoys getting to know New York, its people, architecture and food! Joey also enjoys the theater, museums and pop-ups. 

As a young teenager, he utilized the Center in Denver as a resource to understand his life in the LGBT community. As an adult, he and his husband were close to the Center and contributed through donations and Pride participation.  Joey's goal at The LOFT is to bridge communities throughout Westchester County as well as to increase awareness and attendance at the center.
