Keynote Speaker: Flor Bermudez, LAMBDA Legal

Flor Bermudez is the Youth in Out-of-Home Care Attorney for Lambda Legal, the oldest and largest national legal organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and people with HIV.

In her current position, Bermudez advocates for adequate treatment and competent, sensitive and informed services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth who are involved with child welfare, juvenile justice and homeless services systems. She travels around the country presenting at legal and social services conferences, publishes articles and conducts trainings for the adults who work with LGBTQ youth in out-of-home care.
