The LOFT: LGBT Community Center partnered with the Westchester Community Foundation, WJCS Center Lane, the LGBTQ Legal Project at Legal Services of the Hudson Valley, and Yonkers City Council Majority Leader Michael Sabatino to conduct a needs assessment of the Westchester LGBTQ community.

The recent change in federal policy does not alter the protections we afford to transgender students. There can be no confusion in this State. New York State schools must continue to enforce the law and protect transgender and gender non-conforming students.
