Silver Connections
An LGBT Senior Program highlighted by open houses, weekly concerts, continuing ed classes, field trips, information, and referrals.

Helpline
The Helpline is staffed by trained volunteers who provide peer counseling, crisis intervention, general information, and referrals.

LOFT Peer Support Services
Volunteers for The LOFT Peer Support Services organize and conduct a variety of support groups led by trained facilitators. Short-term workshops on coming out and other topics are also offered.

CNEWS Newsletter
The LOFT's Community News (CNews) is published 6 times per year and provides information on many LGBT happenings in the lower Hudson Valley. Contact us if you're interested in writing, reporting, or editing.

Website and eNewsletter
The LOFT's Website lists all of The lOFT's activities and programs, and other useful information for our community, and weekly email broadcast informs you about upcoming events. Join us on Facebook, too!

Advocacy
A member of the NY State LGBT Health & Human Services Network, The LOFT is a voice for LGBT rights, including Marriage Equality, GENDA (Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act), Dignity for All Students Act, and other initiatives. Join us at our monthly IMPACT meetings and advocacy events.

Lending Library
The LOFT's lending library offers a diverse selection of books, magazines, newspapers, videos, DVDs and other materials of interest.

Social Mixing
The LOFT hosts or sponsors a wide variety of regular social activities, including brunches, dances, supper clubs, coffeehouses, movie nights, and more.

HIV Testing at The LOFT
Know your status? Free and immediate HIV testing every third Monday of the month from 6-8pm. Arranged through AIDS Related Community Services. No appointment necessary!

David Bohnett CyberCenter
The David Bohnett Cybercenter, complete with six workstations, offers you the chance to go online, search for jobs, update your resume, or just surf the web. The LOFT will also be offering classes on various computer programs so you can improve your skills.


LOFT Groups and Meetings

Bisexual Group: Bisexual meeting and discussion. Meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 7:30pm.

Transgender Group: A monthly meeting for individuals; includes a separate support group for partners. Meets the second Saturday of the month at 7:30pm.

Women's Group: A weekly discussion group. Meets every Friday at 7:30pm

Coming Out Group: This group is in the process of forming for this coming spring, and is the latest in The LOFT's offering of support services. The Coming Out Group will be open to all men and women somewhere on the life-long journey of coming out, as well as those who have come out and want to share their story.

Gaymes Night:This very popular gathering meets to play cards & board games, chow down on pizza, and have a great time. Meets the first and third Saturdays of the month at 7pm.

LOFT Artists' Guild: Join your fellow artists!

LOFT Benefit Bowling League: Ten pins was never this fun. Meets every Sunday at 7pm at White Plains Bowl on Route 119.

Entertainment at Eight: From gay to general genere, come and watch a movie on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. Oh, and the popcorn's on us!

LOFTKids: LGBT parents and their kids meet for fun and excursions. Join us for our LOFT Kids Open Houses on the second Saturday of each month from 11am-1pm, where parents and kids are welcome to mix, mingle, and play.

T.E.A.M LOFT: A group of volunteers who volunteer one Saturday a month at the LOFT. Their motto: Together Everyone Accomplishes More (TEAM).

Other Groups That Meet At The LOFT Include:

Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Saturday evening at 8pm.

Al-Anon meets every Monday at 7pm.

PFLAG Westchester meets the second Monday of the month at 7:30pm.

Society of Novus Spiritus Study Group meeting on the third Sunday of each month from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
