LOFT Peer Support Services
Women’s Discussion and Activity Group
Open topic group run by a trained facilitator for women who identify as lesbian, bisexual or are questioning their sexuality.
Takes place weekly on Friday evenings starting at 7:30 pm.
Men’s Discussion and Activity Group
Topic driven group run by a trained facilitator for men who identify as gay, bisexual or are questioning their sexuality.
Takes place the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings of each month, starts at 7:30 pm.
Bisexual Discussion and Activity Group
Open topic group run by a trained facilitator who identify as bisexual or are questioning their sexuality.
Takes place the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings of each month, starts at 7:30 pm.
Transgender Discussion and Activity Group
Open topic group run by a trained facilitator for individuals and their partners who identify as transgender, transsexual, cross-dresser, gender variant, or intersex.
Takes place the 2nd Saturday evening of each month, starts at 7:30 pm.
Butch/Femme Circle
Open topic group for those identifying as Butch/Femme open to all LGBT persons.
Tales place the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings of each month, starts at 7 pm.
20-Something Group Discussion and Activity Group
Open to any LGBTQ persons between the ages of 20 & 29.
Discussion group takes place the 2nd Wednesday at 7 pm. Activities are listed on The LOFT website.
Dad’s Group
Open topic group for GBT men who have children.
Takes place the 4th Monday evening at 7:30 pm.
LOFT Resources and Education
LOFT Library
Lending library containing 4,000 LGBT related books, films and reference materials.
Open when the center is open: Monday – Friday and some weekend hours.
LOFT Edu
Adult education courses for the LGBT community.
Course offerings are by semester and are listed on The LOFT website.
David Bohnett Cyber Center
6 computer terminals, a high-speed color printer and a large-screen monitor for classroom instruction.

Free HIV Testing
Provided by the Gay Men’s Health Educator from AIDS Related Community Services
Takes place the 3rd Monday evening each month from 4:30 to 7:30.
LOFT Legal Clinic
Drop-in clinic offering a seminar covering a particular legal topic followed by one-on-one consultation with an attorney knowledgeable on LGBT legal issues.

Pro-Bono Name Change Project
Part of The LOFT Legal Clinic for transgender individuals needing assistance to legally change their name.

Networking group for LGBT parents and their children including: open houses, trips and a newsletter.

OUT Professionals
Quarterly LGBT social networking mixer.

LOFT Improv Group
Improv games and situations played out. No improve experience necessary.
Takes place the 2nd and 4th Saturday evenings of each month at 6 pm.
Gaymes Night
Social evening of board games & cards.
Held on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays of each month at 7
LOFT Drumming Circle
Monthly drumming jam and practice of health rhythms.
Held on the 3rd Saturday evening each month at 7 pm
LOFT Book Club
Group discussing one LGBT literary selection each month.
Takes places the third Tuesday at 7:30 pm.
Memorial Thrift Shop
Thrift store co-run by The LOFT and MUMC.
