Chi Delta Mu Chapter of Tri-Ess (CDM) - The nearest chapter of Tri-Ess, a national organization for the support of the needs of het CDs and their spouses/SOs. Monthly meetings at a location in Northern New Jersey. Potential members must undergo a screening process. (A nice group with strong spousal support.)
Crossdressers International (CDI) - New York City's open CD group; has a west side midtown apartment and a newsletter, "Crossdresser's Monthly." Plus weekly open house on Wednesday evenings, and a monthly meeting featuring speakers, dinners or other activities. A safe haven for crossdressers.
ConnecticuTView - TG organization based at the LGBT Center in New Haven (and one of the models for MeNTA). Monthly meetings at the New Haven LGBT Center. Electronic newsletter for members.
FemmeFever - FemmeFever (the leading TG organization and transformation service) is a personalized professional service for the transgendered community.
The Harry Benjamin International Gender Dysphoria Association - "a professional organization devoted to the understanding and treatment of gender identity disorders". Roughly 300 members worldwide hail from psychiatry, endocrinology, surgery, psychology, sociology, and counseling. Establishes Standards of Care for the treatment of "gender identity disorders".

International Foundation for Gender Education (IFGE)
Intersex Society of North America (ISNA) - The leading resource for intersexed persons, ISNA is a peer support, education, and advocacy group founded and operated by and for intersexuals: individuals born with anatomy or physiology which differs from cultural ideals of male and female.
New York Association for Gender Rights Advocacy - A membership organization that advocates at the state and local level for self-determination in gender expression and identity. NYAGRA sees its constituency as including all individuals who experience discrimination and violence because of the ways in which they choose to express their gender. Such individuals may include, but are not limited to: transgender-identified and transexual people, and gender non-conforming people who identify as gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, and heterosexuals.
Renaissance Education Association - The Renaissance mission is to provide the very best in comprehensive education and caring support to transgendered individuals and those close to them. This is accomplished through offering a variety of carefully selected programs and resources focused on the factors affecting their lives.
Tiffany Club of New England - The Tiffany Club has been in existence for 20 years with its focus on helping others with issues of gender confusion, crossdressing, and transsexuality. Tiffany welcomes any and all contacts from people interested in support or information.
