Silver Connection Day Trip to Fire Island Wed August 18 Seniors It's that time of year again for our second summer excursion to sunny Fire Island in August! Join us on our private bus to the ferry, and then a pleasant boat ride to Cherry Grove where we'll have a fun-filled day. And you non-seniors are invited to join us for the discounted bus ride out! Non-Seniors What's more, we've got extra seats for you non-seniors who might want a day on Fire Island without paying an arm and a leg for gas, parking, and tolls, and only pay $20. The ferry ride out and the rest of the day is on you! An RSVP is required. 8:30 am: Bus leaves from White Plains Pick-up Location: The LOFT: LGBT Community Center, 252 Bryant Ave, White Plains 9:00 am: Bus stops at Yonkers Pick-up Location: Nathan’s Restaurant, 2290 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers 11:30 am: Depart on the Sayville Ferry Service to Cherry Grove, Fire Island with SAGE, SAGE/Queens,and SAGE/Long Island 12:00 pm: Arrive on Fire Island. Lunch : A poolside lunch will be provided by The Ice Palace including 2 well drinks and gratuity for staff. The Ice Palace will also be hosting poolside BINGO and other games as well as allowing guests access to the hotel’s pool, showers, and bathrooms. Open Afternoon: Enjoy all that Fire Island has to offer! 6:00 pm: Depart Cherry Grove on the Sayville Ferry Service Approx. 8 & 8:30 pm: Return to Yonkers and White Plains pick-up locations.
