Silver Connections is The LOFT's LGBT 55+ Senior Outreach Program.
Silver Connections is designed to encourage socialization and continued learning in adults, ages 55 and older. The group holds meetings focused around learning new topics and skills, inter-generational conversation, peer support, and community outings.
The December Silver Connections Group Schedule includes both daytime inter-generational programs & 55+ specific programs. Click the links below to learn more about each group:
- 55+ Peer Support Group- On holiday break, will resume in 2019
- Film Friday- Meets on Friday, January 18th at 1pm and 7pm (featuring the film: "The Happy Prince" 2018)
- Monthly Outing- (see below for information) Seeing "Phantom" on Thursday, January 17th at 11:15am
- Spirituality Support & Discussion Group- Meets on Wednesday, January 9th & 23rd from 11am-12:30pm
- Morning Gaymes- Meets Mondays, January 7th, 14th, & 28th from 10:30am-1:30pm
In addition to the above list, Silver Connections also hosts two Open Houses on the 2nd Saturday & 4th Tuesday of each month. These meetings feature a community presenter and lite lunch, and run from 11:30am to 1:00pm.
