The LOFT Mourns the Loss of One of Its Founders, Frank Santoliquido

Frank Santoliquido, one of The LOFT's founders passed away on Monday, January 27th, 2020.  Frank was an early activist in gay rights and a member of the Gay Men's Alliance of the Hudson Valley.  In 1983, he and others rented space on Grove Street, now MLK Jr. Blvd, in White Plains to establish a place where all the LGBT groups could meet.

Those founders called the space The LOFT.

Frank was a tireless worker for The LOFT until he was disabled by Parkinson's Disease.
