Take a stroll down memory lane and join us for an evening walk in White Plains that will highlight The LOFT’s current and previous locations. We will be walking approximately 4 miles and will walk past the LOFT’s original location where the center got its name for being in a loft space, as well as several other locations important to the center’s history in the city. We will be meeting in front of the entrance to The LOFT starting at 6:15pm and will be leaving promptly at 6:30 and will be done by approximately 8:30pm. Longtime LOFT member and volunteer James Young will be co-leading this walk with OutWalking group leader Joe.

Sal J Prezioso Mountain Lakes Park

Situated on 1,082 acres, Prezioso Mountain Lakes Park is Westchester's northernmost park, and is known for its rugged terrain, hardwood forest and is home to five lakes. We will traverse approximately 4 miles of the network of trails within the park. The trails should be suited for most skill levels and are mostly flat, but can be uneven at times and there will be some small climbs in elevation.

Join us for the areas most 'electrifying' fall activity - The Great Jack-O'Lantern Blaze! This spooktacular event features over 7,000 carved pumpkin displays that are arranged into several themed sections, making for a memorable October evening getaway. It takes approximately 45 minutes to walk through the displays. We will be entering the Blaze at the 7:30 time slot. Please try to arrive around 7:00 since traffic in the area and parking can add extra time to get to the entrance. We will be meeting at the entrance to the refreshment tent which is before the ticketing entrance to enter the Blaze. Tickets must be purchased from the Historic Hudson Valley website. This event typically sells out well in advance, especially with reduced admissions due to Covid-19. We suggest buying your tickets ASAP if you are interested in attending.
