LGBTQ Health Advocacy

Just because a doctor is assigned to you, doesn’t mean you have to keep them.

If your doctor uses harsh language, refuses to recognize your partner, or refuses to provide healthcare related to your sexual orientation, ask for a different doctor.

You should feel comfortable talking about your sexual identity, sexual behaviors, and gender identity when you visit a doctor’s office or clinic.

Are You Going to See Jackson Crash !?

New Play: Jackson Crash Play comes to LOFT-MUMC Campus

Friday, June 16th at 7:00 PM

Jackson Crash tells the story of one man's journey from bullying and parental neglect to discovering his queerness, starting a family, becoming a truck driver, and pursuing his dreams -- all while being chased by an insidious demon. Can Jackson find a place to hide before the Creeper-Man catches him??? With pathos and irreverent humor, Jackson lays bare his broken heart and valiant voyage of self-discovery, inviting you, the audience, to sympathize, empathize, and recall your own story.

From the fertile mind and bleeding heart of Jonathan Riedel, Artistic Director of Riedel Dance Theater, Limón Dance Company principal dancer, lead singer and songwriter of Rubber Skulls, comes this bold, brash and poignant theatrical experience.
