Special Thanks to TD Bank for their generous support!

Let's have some fun together at SpringFest! This year it will be virtual and we have so much fun planned: Drag Queen Bingo with Rhoda Rollins Stone, prizes such as gift cards to GrubHub & Amazon, and a performance from Kevin Smith Kirkwood (Kinky Boots & The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on Broadway) from Broadway Sings For Pride!

Best of all, SpringFest is about celebrating our volunteers.
Come have fun and join us as we celebrate all the incredible contributions our volunteers have made this year that have made The LOFT an outstanding community center for all of the LGBTQ+ community! Open to all.

TransMission Cycle 1 Awardees

TransMission is a small scholarship of funds available to applicants who identify within the trans & non-binary communities to offset medical, surgical, legal, and/or social transition-related expenses which are not otherwise covered by insurance.  Please note: TransMission scholarships are "microgrants" meant to offset costs related to therapy, hormones, gender-affirming clothing/living expenses, etc, and will not cover the complete cost of most surgical procedures.

.
Click the Awardee to learn more about each participant! | Applications for Cycle 2 of this scholarship will be available in the Fall of 2021.

It's Unbelievable How Much Has Changed!

Can you believe it's already been one year since COVID changed the world?

It has affected so many in the LGTBQ+ community and we've been inspired by the resilience that so many have shown.

The needs of our community over the course of this year have grown exponentially due to the COVID crisis and we are working tirelessly to meet all of them.

When our physical campus shutdown we immediately began calling on our most vulnerable members to make sure their food, safety, and security needs were met.  And now, one year later, we’re assisting with vaccine appointments for many of these same people.

We’ve also become a digital campus.  In one year, we’ve hosted over 700 virtual groups and events with nearly 12,000 participants, including those around the country and globe who are able to connect virtually to our LOFT community!

We’ve also expanded our advocacy and outreach programs making sure that our voices are heard at every level of government, and that we are reaching and serving our most underrepresented.

As we prepare to re-open our physical campus, making sure safety protocols are in place for in-person groups, services, and events, we also recognize the necessity of having a digital campus for those still isolated.
