Growing Families is a safe space for new and expecting parents and caregivers of babies from birth through age two to come for community, support, infant care questions, feeding help, wellness and reproductive health topics.

Growing Families meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00am-12:00pm. This is a free program; donations are welcome!

About the facilitator:

Court Durfee, RN, BSN, CLC, CD(DONA), HCHD is a Certified Lactation Counselor, nurse, birth & postpartum doula, and health educator. Court is a co-owner of Hudson River Doulas, providing pregnancy, birth, postpartum and lactation support for growing families in the mid-Hudson Valley region of New York. Court's educational background is in Community & Human Services, Healthcare Management, Nursing, and Early Childhood Education with ten years of experience in perinatal health. He is also currently working on his Masters in Nurse-Midwifery at Frontier Nursing University and is passionate about addressing LGBTQ+ healthcare disparities.
