Silver Connections is The LOFT's LGBT 55+ Senior Outreach Program.
Silver Connections is designed to encourage socialization and continued learning in adults, ages 55 and older. The group holds meetings focused around learning new topics and skills, inter-generational conversation, peer support, and community outings.
Silver Connections Open Houses run on the 2nd Saturday and 4th Tuesday of every month from 11:30am-1:00pm.
3rd Tuesday Open House
(Note: Due to the holiday, this Open House is on the 3rd Tuesday in December instead of the 4th Tuesday in December).
Ring in 2020: Annual End-of-Year Social & Holiday Gift Swap.
Join the group for an end-of-year celebration with games, activities, and reflection. Help us ring in 2020 and close out 2019 with a bang!
We encourage everyone to bring a small, wrapped gift to be distributed to members at the event.
(price to exceed no more than $10/$15)
The LOFT will provide additional small gifts and wrapping materials, if any members are unable to provide their own.
The LOFT's Silver Connections program is made possible by grants from the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services, New York State Department of Health, New York State Office for Aging, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
