Older Driver Safety Workshop
Presented by Dr. Kathleen Golisz, Professor & Associate Dean at Mercy College.
Do you have a Driving Retirement Plan?
Most individuals outlive their driving life expectancy by 10-12 years. While we hope people drive for as long as they can drive safely, planning to stay engaged in the community after driving retirement is vital to quality of life. This workshop will lead participants through a series of activities to plan for potential mobility changes in the same way they might plan financially for retirement. The workshop will also discuss updates to New York State motor vehicle laws
The LOFT's Silver Connections program is made possible by grants from the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services, New York State Department of Health, New York State Office for Aging, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
