Join OUTWalking on our next adventure!

WHEN: Sunday, April 28th, from 10 AM - 12:30 PM

WHERE: Ward Pound Ridge - 6 Reservation Road, Cross River, NY

RSVP/QUESTIONS: Please contact group facilitator Joe Nappi at [email protected]

Join us as we explore the 4,315 acres of Ward Pound Ridge, Westchester County's largest park. Please note there will be hills to climb at times and that we will walk approximately 4 miles. Ward Pound Ridge Reservation is located on Reservation Road, just off of Old Post Road / Route 35. There is a parking lot located at "6 Reservation Road, Cross River, NY 10518" which will be our meeting location. When you turn onto Reservation Road, continue straight and you will arrive at a small toll booth situated on your left hand side. Standard fare is $10 cash. Continue straight past the booth, you will then see meadows on your left and pass a house on your right. Reservation Road leads right into the parking lot by the Trailside Museum. The hike features three points of interest, the "Indian Rock Shelter", the "Former Fire Tower" (the highest point in the reservation), and there will be a a Nature Museum, a Wigwam, and a Wildflower Garden at the conclusion of our hike. For anyone wanting to take public transit, it can arranged to pick a few people up at the Fleetwood Metro-North Station. Hope to see you there!

*The LOFT'S OutWalking events are planned with everyone's safety in mind and we ask that participants complete this waiver to acknowledge they feel safe and able to engage in this physical activity. Once signed, they will be kept on file for the remainder of the calendar year, and do not need to be completed every month. Thank you for helping keep OUTWalking a safe experience for all those who participate!
