OUTWalking is an outdoor hiking and walking group for the LGBTQ+ community.
Our next hiking adventure:
Croton Gorge Park
At 297 feet high and holding back over 19 billion gallons of drinking water that supplies New York City, the New Croton Dam is a true architectural marvel that was completed in 1906. We will start at the base of this historic dam and view the dams' magnificent spillway, before ascending to the top of the dam to view the reservoir and get a great view of the surrounding landscape. We next will walk along the scenic Old Croton Aqueduct Trailway. This is an easy hike that is well suited for most skill levels.
*All attendees are required to wear face masks for the duration of the walk and practice social distancing*
IMPORTANT, YOU NEED TO FILL OUT THE WAIVER:
*The LOFT'S OutWalking events are planned with everyone's safety in mind and we ask that participants complete this waiver to acknowledge they feel safe and able to engage in this physical activity. Once signed, they will be kept on file for the remainder of the calendar year, and do not need to be completed on a monthly basis. Thank you for helping keep OutWalking a safe experience for all those who participate!
