*The LOFT'S OutWalking events are planned with everyone's safety in mind and we ask that participants complete this waiver to acknowledge they feel safe and able to engage in this physical activity. Once signed, they will be kept on file for the remainder of the calendar year, and do not need to be completed on a monthly basis. Where: Edith G. Read Wildlife Sanctuary | 1 Playland Parkway, Rye, NY
When: Sunday | March 26, 2023 | 10:00am-12:00pm

Join us as we explore the 127 acres of scenic Read Wildlife Sanctuary. We will hike approximately 4 miles and take in gorgeous views of the Long Island Sound. This is an easy hike and the trails are suitable for most skill levels. Please note that the entrance to the sanctuary is through the parking entrance to Rye Playland. Parking is free during the off season. We will be parking in the main parking lot to Playland right in front of the roller coaster that borders the back of the parking lot. From there we will walk to the sanctuary.

LOFT Social Groups are open groups which welcome everyone ages 18 and over. Groups are led by members of the LGBTQ+ and allied communities. There is no need to preregister and no fee to attend.
Donations are welcome. Suggested donation is $5; more if you can, less if you can't. Fees related to activities are the responsibility of participants.
