Sunset Hike at Read Wildlife Sanctuary

Event Details:
Join OUTWalking for our next adventure—a peaceful sunset hike through the stunning 127-acre Read Wildlife Sanctuary, with gorgeous views overlooking the Long Island Sound. This easy hike is perfect for most skill levels and offers a beautiful way to connect with nature and community.

Parking Info:
Enter through the Rye Playland parking entrance—parking should still be free as the amusement park is not yet open. Park in the main lot in front of the roller coaster, and we’ll walk together to the sanctuary.

Need a Ride?
A pickup from the Fleetwood Metro-North Station is available at 6:00 PM for those using public transit.

LOFT Social Groups are open groups that welcome everyone ages 18+.

Groups are led by members of the LGBTQ+ and allied communities.

Suggested donation is $5; more if you can, less if you can't.

Fees related to activities are the responsibility of participants.
