Queer Community Book Club (QCBC)

Using books written by people who identify themselves within queer communities, Queer Community Book Club (QCBC) aims to deepen our sense of community and ourselves in a queer centric space. QCBC a free program that is cosponsored by Queery and The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center.

Currently Reading: "Queer Brown Voices": Personal Narratives of Latina/o LGBT Activism" by Uriel Quesada, Letitia Gomez and Salvador Vidal-Ortiz.

December 11th:This week we will be reading the chapter called “Latinas/os and the AIDS Treatment Advocacy Movement” by Moises Agosto-Rosario.

QCBC will not be meeting on Saturdays Dec 25th and Jan 1st due to conflicts with holidays

The next book selection QCBC will be discussing once "Queer Brown Voices" has concluded will be "Stone Butch Blues" by Leslie Feinberg.
