Silver Connections Lunch & Learn

Silver Connections' Lunch & Learn meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM. These meetings are open to LGBTQ+ community members ages 55+. The LOFT provides lunch and a featured community presenter to lead discussions about varying topics relevant to the community.

Senior B.E.A.T. is a comprehensive transit orientation initiative designed to empower seniors with the knowledge and skills to navigate the Bee-Line System confidently, fostering greater travel independence. During this Lunch & Learn, participants will:

  • Enjoy lunch provided by The LOFT.
  • Acquire essential bus safety and "how to ride" skills.
  • Explore the accessibility features available on Bee-Line buses.
  • Learn how to utilize the reduced fare program for cost-effective travel.
  • Master trip planning techniques to enhance efficiency and convenience. ...and much more!
