Silver Connections is The LOFT's LGBTQ+ 55+ Senior Outreach Program.
Silver Connections is designed to encourage socialization and continued learning in adults, ages 55 and older. The group holds meetings focused around learning new topics and skills, inter-generational conversation, peer support, and community outings.
The Silver Connections Program Schedule includes both daytime inter-generational programs & 55+ specific programs.

Are you living with a chronic health condition, or providing care to someone with a chronic health condition? Would you like to learn how to better self-manager your medical care?
This spring, The LOFT and Westchester Department of Senior Programs and Services are teaming up to offer the Health for Life Program (HeLP) virtually for LOFT community members!
The HeLP series is open to Westchester residents, ages 55 and older living with a chronic health condition (COVID-19, asthma, diabetes, high blood-pressure, etc). Caregivers of all ages are also welcome!
This interactive program is completely free to attend and will be held over 6 weeks. The sessions can either be offered by Zoom (once a week for 2 hours) or by phone (once a week for 1 hour), depending on group interest.
This series will cover:
- Care management for chronic conditions
- Guidance on how to best communicate with medical professionals and family
- Money-saving tips for medical visits
- A free reference book, exercise & relaxation CDs, which you can keep!
