Wolf Conservation Center

Dive into the wild with Silver Connections OUTings!

Join us for an extraordinary adventure as we explore the fascinating world of wolves at the Wolf Conservation Center!

Experience "Wolves of North America" with an added twist of queer ecology & wildlife focus. This captivating program will last approximately 1.5 hours, offering an immersive journey into the lives of these majestic creatures.

Here's what to expect:

Delve into the world of wolves during a 45-minute session in our classroom. Then, venture up to our ambassador wolf enclosure, Mexican gray wolf enclosure, and red wolf enclosure. Get up close with our ambassador wolves, and keep your eyes peeled for the chance to spot 3 Mexican gray wolves and a red wolf pair!

.This is a program of Silver Connections, The LOFT's program for LGBTQ+ community members ages 55+.

The LOFT's Silver Connections program is made possible by grants from the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services, New York State Department of Health, New York State Office for Aging, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

LOFT Social Groups are open groups that welcome everyone ages 18+. Groups are led by members of the LGBTQ+ and allied communities. There is no need to preregister and no fee to attend. Donations are welcome. Suggested donation is $5; more if you can, less if you can't. Fees related to activities are the responsibility of participants.
