Valerie Daniele

Valerie Daniele (she/her) is the Deputy Director for the Westchester County Human Rights Commission. Prior to joining the Commission in 2019, Valerie served as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for 11 years, focusing on fair housing enforcement and compliance.


Valerie served as Secretary of the Board of Trustees for the White Plains Presbyterian Church for 6 years and was appointed to the Permanent Judicial Commission of the Hudson River Presbytery. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Kingsley House, a 164-unit affordable development for senior and disabled residents in downtown White Plains.


Valerie received a bachelor of science degree in the Administration of Justice from Rutgers College and a J.D. from Pace University School of Law. She resides in White Plains with her husband, two children, and their two dogs. In her down time, Valerie can be found listening to a true crime podcast or searching for the best vegetarian food in Westchester.
