Manage The LOFT’s Meetup.com social media account by:
- Adding new events and modifying current events
- Answering comments and direct messages
- Preparing the LOFT schedule of events a month in advance
- Create engaging content
- Interacting with inquiries and boosting community engagement
Initial Impact:
- Maintained streamlined LOFT Meetup posts.
- Displaying relevant info to ensure that people who are interested have a clear understanding of what the event is and how to join.
- Boosting engagement to social media users
Sustained Outcome:
- Clear and specific promotion, enhancing the LOFT Meetup.com experience
Training & Support:

Training conducted in The LOFT Cyber Center includes:
- How to edit an existing event
- How to create an event from scratch
- How to copy an old event
- Concise format of generic event post (group description, meeting info, donate, rsvp disclaimer, click here for ‘zoom link’ and helpline)
- Image design on Canva; size 1200 x 675 px, how to…
- Supervised by Volunteer Manager
Commitment:
- 2 or more days per week. Minimum 2.5 hours per day
Qualifications:
- Completing hours for college credit
- Passionate about LGBTQ+ community building
