Key Responsibilities

  • Manage The LOFT’s social media account by:
    • Adding new events and modifying current events
    • Answering comments and direct messages
    • Preparing the LOFT schedule of events a month in advance
  • Create engaging content
  • Interacting with inquiries and boosting community engagement

Initial Impact:

  • Maintained streamlined LOFT Meetup posts.
  • Displaying relevant info to ensure that people who are interested have a clear understanding of what the event is and how to join.
  • Boosting engagement to social media users

Sustained Outcome:

  • Clear and specific promotion, enhancing the LOFT experience

Training & Support:

  • Training conducted in The LOFT Cyber Center includes:
    • How to edit an existing event
    • How to create an event from scratch
    • How to copy an old event
    • Concise format of generic event post (group description, meeting info, donate, rsvp disclaimer, click here for ‘zoom link’ and helpline)

  • Supervised by Volunteer Manager


  • 2 or more days per week. Minimum 2.5 hours per day

  • Gain experience with event coordination through a social media outlet
