Progress Pride Flag

The Progress Pride Flag, created by Daniel Quasar, evolved from the Philadelphia Pride Flag. Quasar added white, pink, and light blue stripes to represent the transgender community. While the black and brown stripes continue to symbolize communities of color, the black stripe also serves as a tribute to the thousands of lives lost during the HIV/AIDS crisis of the 1980s and 1990s. Since its creation, the Progress Pride Flag has gained widespread popularity.
