Mama Bears is an intimate, thought-provoking exploration of the journeys taken by Sara Cunningham and Kimberly Shappley, two “mama bears” —whose profound love for their LGBTQ children has turned them into fierce advocates for the entire queer community — and Tammi Terrell Morris, a young African American lesbian whose struggle for self-acceptance perfectly exemplifies why the mama bears are so vitally important.

Join Us For The PROM!

The Prom

Oct 23-SUN | Meeting at 1:45 PM, show begins at 2:00 PM | White Plains Performing Arts Center

THE PROM is a musical comedy about four big Broadway stars on a mission to change the world and the love they discover that unites them all. So when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom where Emma wants to take her girlfriend to prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue...and themselves. Broadway’s brassiest join forces with a courageous girl and the town’s citizens and the result is love that brings them all together.

Coming Out When You're Ready

We know that Coming Out doesn't follow a specific timeline or that it needs to happen on a special day. It happens when you're ready--and we know there's a lot involved with that. You're not alone.
If you are in the process of coming out, are struggling, and/or need support, know that The LOFT is here for you. We have support groups, social activities, mental health therapy, staff here to assist, and a helpline that you can access at 914-948-2932 x13 or email us at [email protected]
