Join Rockefeller Preserve staff and OUTWalking for our next adventure to celebrate Pride Month! We will be taking a scenic 2-mile hike around Rockwood Hall, offering stunning views of the sunset over the Hudson and the iconic Tappan Zee Bridge. Leashed dogs are welcome. The parking lot is on Kendal Way off route 117, just after the intersection of Phelps and Regeneron. If the lot is full, you may park in the Phelps garage (free). Gather at the kiosk at the top of the hill across the street from the parking lot. Tickets are free, but please reserve a spot since there will be a limit to the amount of participants.
*The LOFT'S OutWalking events are planned with everyone's safety in mind and we ask that participants complete this waiver to acknowledge they feel safe and able to engage in this physical activity. Once signed, they will be kept on file for the remainder of the calendar year, and do not need to be completed on a monthly basis. In honor of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month, join Audubon staff for a special birding tour and celebration of diversity and inclusion of both birds and people. You will learn about the many colorful birds that call Audubon Greenwich home and go for a leisurely walk through our fields, orchards and woods to see many of them up close. Just as all of these birds and wildlife are welcome in our sanctuary so are all people!.
Let's Go Birding Together walks are for everyone who loves birds and the outdoors. We welcome those who identify as LGBTQ, allies, families, and anyone who wants to enjoy an outdoor experience that is inclusive. Why do we do this?
