A Message from The LOFT Board on Reopening our Physical Center

Dear Friends,

The LOFT LGBT Community Services Center (The LOFT) looks forward to a time in the near future to welcoming you back! We miss seeing you in person and trust you are staying well and being safe. The LOFT is committed to providing you and our dedicated employees with a safe
place, and in light of guidance from New York State we will be taking a measured approach to re-opening our doors. We have not yet set a date for opening The LOFT’s physical space to the public. The LOFT will continue to provide many programs and services to our community through online meetings and forums until it is safe to meet in person.

As the situation with COVID-19 remains uncertain, we expect New York State to update the requirements for businesses. If plans change, we will let you know in sufficient time prior to reopening The LOFT’s physical space. We will circulate guidance to describe exactly how we will be handling the reopening; much of which will depend on NYS and Westchester County guidance.

When we first re-open The LOFT’s physical space to the public we will be required to keep a record of everyone who enters. We must also ensure that occupancy remains at or less than 50% of the permitted occupancy. When you come back, you will notice various changes in the way The LOFT looks, as well as new practices and protocols. We understand these changes may be difficult and we are here to support you. Our goal is to collaboratively ensure that you feel safe and secure.

If you have questions please feel free to call The LOFT’s Executive Director, Judy Troilo at 914-948-2932 x11 or [email protected]

Yours in Pride,

The LOFT Board of Directors
