Alicia Wilczewski

Alicia Wilczewski (she/her/hers) is a Program Manager for The LOFT. In this capacity, Alicia works in running and supporting various programs and services like Silver Connections and The LOFT's Helpline.

Before their time at The LOFT, Alicia worked with children from ages one year to elementary school age. She worked with two other co-teachers facilitating group activities, lessons, and playtime. In her youth, her teachers inspired her like no other, making bad days good. So she wanted to follow in their footsteps, her primary interest in teaching was not any specific subject but helping her future students and making sure that they were happy.

She graduated from Manhattanville College in 2023 with a BA in History and Sociology, actively furthering her education and doing community service. Some of her favorite outreach programs included working with local animal shelters and helping the homeless population of New York City through Midnight Run. Midnight Run NYC is a volunteer organization that aims to provide food, clothing, and other essential items to homeless people in New York City.

Serving the community is Alicia's underlying motivation and guides her towards whatever future endeavor allows for that. When Alicia is not working to serve the community or at school, she enjoys reading and writing, listening to music from a wide variety of genres, playing video games, and watching movies.

Her two cats, Caramel(12yrs) and Oreo(2yrs) fill up her time when she’s outside The LOFT.
