In Support is a free service offered to the community by The LOFT. It seeks to provide assistance to job seekers through career readiness, mock interviews, resume and cover letter critiques, as well as other intricacies of the job search process. Run by LOFT volunteers in the Human Resources field, In Support offers valuable advice, skills development, and job-search strategies through one-on-one appointments.

People who are unemployed or people seeking a career transition in the Lower Hudson Valley Area.

In Support provides job seekers with guidance, support, and advice through their job search.
In Support benefits our community in the following ways:
- Providing emotional support — The job search can take a toll on you. IN SUPPORT is a source of support from a LOFT staff or volunteer.
- Ideas for enhancing your job search — The job search process is continually evolving. Learn how to conduct an effective 21st century job search.
- Skill Development — The job search can be riddled with different obstacles that can be confusing and overwhelming. Attend a one-on-one meeting to learn about how you can develop the skills necessary to market yourself and successfully navigate the job search.
In Support one-on-one appointments vary in length from a 1/2 hour to an hour depending on the goals of the job seeker, availability of volunteers, and amount of career readiness and preparedness of the person seeking help.
