Krysten Cummings, is a queer artist originally from New Jersey. She found her groove in the bustling streets of London over two decades ago.
She's not just a singer-songwriter and musical theatre star—she's a powerhouse performer! From "Mama I Want To Sing" to "Company," "The Fix," and "Jesus Christ Superstar," Cummings has lit up stages across the globe. But it was her electrifying turn as 'Mimi Marquez' in "Rent" that really put her on the map, earning her nominations for top awards like The Dora Mavor Moore and the Laurence Olivier Award.  Cummings originated the role of Mimi Marquez in the Toronto and London West End productions of the groundbreaking musical Rent, before landing the part on Broadway.
Off-stage, Cummings is a force to be reckoned with in the music world. Her soulful vocals have become anthems of empowerment, especially within the LGBTQIA community. From Sydney's Mardi Gras to PRIDE festivals worldwide, she's got crowds dancing to her beat.
