In light of Pride Month, the Crowne Plaza White Plains has teamed up with The LOFT LGBT Community Center for a special photo exhibit, which is displayed in the hotel’s lobby and open to the public through the end of June. On Thursday, June 27, there will be a short program beginning promptly at 3:00pm at the Crowne Plaza White Plains lobby, featuring Judy Trolio, Executive Director of The LOFT; and members of the Crowne Plaza White Plains management team, including General Manager Monika Henry. Local dignitaries, business leaders and media have also been invited to the event, which will be followed by a Pride Month Happy Hour until 7pm.

The exhibit in the Crowne Plaza lobby features photographs commemorating LGBTQ Pride with historic images from the Stonewall Riots and photos of various Westchester and New York Pride demonstrations and achievements throughout the years. The week-long exhibit is open to hotel guests and the general public through June 30.
As part of the celebration, the Crowne Plaza White Plains is offering a week-long Pride Month Happy Hour from 4pm-7pm, with Pride-themed food and beverages and Pride cocktails.
"The photo exhibit is a must-see,” added Judy Troilo, Executive Director of The LOFT LGBTQ Community Center. “Our photo archives contain many images, each with a powerful message that is still relevant 50 years later. Stonewall is a historic event and we feel that this exhibit has done it justice.”
