VIRTUAL: Queer Community Book Club

Using books written by people who identify themselves within queer communities, Queer Community Book Club (QCBC) aims to deepen our sense of community and ourselves in a queer centric space. QCBC a free program that is cosponsored by Queery and The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center.

Currently Reading: "Queer Brown Voices": Personal Narratives of Latina/o LGBT Activism" by Uriel Quesada, Letitia Gomez and Salvador Vidal-Ortiz.(This week we will be reading the chapter called “A South Texas Activist in Washington, D.C., Houston and San Antonio” by Brad Veloz).

January 15: 
This week we will spend the time conversing with our guest speaker, Moises Agosto-Rosario, and his chapter of the book titled 
"Latinas/os and the AIDS Treatment Advocacy Movement."
