JOIN The LOFT as we march with US Senator Gillibrand!
U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is a longtime champion fighting for LGBTQIA+ equality in everything from housing to health care. She led the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and efforts to protect LGBTQIA+ service members from discrimination and allow them the right to serve openly in the military. She's worked to support LGBTQIA+ businesses and protect against lending discrimination and helped galvanize Congress to pass the Respect for Marriage Act. Senator Gillibrand is an original co-sponsor of the Equality Act, and she leads the Hate Crimes Commission Act and the John Lewis Every Child Deserves a Family Act.
The exact time and location of the march formation are TBD. We will email each registrant the details as soon as they are available. Please note that the NYC Pride March runs from 12-6 PM. However, we are happy to have you join us for as long as you can!

Join us for a special Pride preview of Sundance award-winning Mutt (2023), preceded by this was supposed to be a film about you (dir. Juan Barquin, 2022) and it had to be you (dir. Juan Barquin + Trae Delellis, 2022) – two short films about queer relationships.

Over the course of 24 breathless hours in New York City, twentysomething trans guy Feña (newcomer Lío Mehiel, winner of a Special Jury Award at Sundance for their performance) must contend with an onslaught of aggravations, surprise encounters, and emotional choices.

Come see the film and meet the director, Vuk who was once a community member of The LOFT!

Just because a doctor is assigned to you, doesn’t mean you have to keep them.

If your doctor uses harsh language, refuses to recognize your partner, or refuses to provide healthcare related to your sexual orientation, ask for a different doctor.

You should feel comfortable talking about your sexual identity, sexual behaviors, and gender identity when you visit a doctor’s office or clinic.
