A Beer They Made-Release Party--TONIGHT!

TONIGHT: Join The AMAZING folx at Nod Hill Brewery to celebrate the release of our collab with Bellwoods Brewery, A Beer They Made! After months of planning, a road trip for Kat up to Bellwoods in Toronto, and multiple brew days, we are so excited to share this beer - created with the goal of raising awareness about trans, non-binary & gender-fluid folks working in the brewing industry.
Here's more information from their site:
This evening’s event will feature live performances on the Biergarten stage from Alexandra Burnet & MorganEve Swain , plus a pop-up market of LGBTQ+ vendors starting at 4pm, including:

Aging Health Workshop

Aging Health Workshop

August 23rd-Tue | 11:30-1:30 PM | At The LOFT

Join the Know Better, Live Better workshop that focuses on managing health disparities as it relates to Aging LGBTQ+ Elders.

Know Better, Live Better is an initiative to promote community well-being and reduce health disparities in Westchester County. The program takes an evidence-based “trusted messenger” approach, which relies on a group of trustworthy Westchester residents to open discussions about disease prevention, finding health information, and accessing health services.

This event is tailored for members of the LGBTQ+ over the age of 55+ and will take place during Lunch and Learn.

Come join the music jam and have fun!!!

Saturday, August 13th | Music in our Lives | Unity Table Event
Meet artist in residence, Christina Picciano (she/her), a recipient of the Artist Employment Program (AEP) grant from Creatives Rebuild New York (CRNY). As a queer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, she will work with The LOFT to use music and advocacy to empower the community and address social justice issues. This is an interactive music and discussion meeting.
For this discussion, Christina invites you to participate in an open dialogue on how music uplifts and empowers our community and becomes an outlet for social change and personal expression.
BYOI: Bring your own instrument or try one on hand at the meeting!

The Respect for Marriage Act (RMA) passed the U.S. House of Representatives last week with support from 47 Republicans and every Democrat – and momentum is growing on both sides of the aisle for the Senate to act in the days ahead.
