Where did you grow up / where do you live now?

Alex grew up in Mount Vernon, NY and now lives on campus at University.

Some of his hobbies include listening to music, writing, doing makeup, and singing.

Why volunteer at The LOFT?

The LOFT is a great place for the LGBTQ+ community! The LOFT and the LGBTQ+ community have given me so many great opportunities to get involved and it makes me happy to give back to my community! Through The LOFT, I have made so many great connections and I have made great friendships.

What has your experience been like volunteering with The LOFT?

My experience volunteering with The LOFT has been wonderful. I enjoy volunteering with The LOFT, and seeing familiar faces everytime I get involved.

Is there anything you'd like future LOFT Volunteers to know?

I would like future volunteers to know that The LOFT is a great place to be!

Would you rather go on vacation in the mountains or near a beach?

I would rather go on vacation in the mountains because I love nature and vacationing near the mountains would serve as a great space to relax, decompress and explore.

Favorite Book/TV Show/Movie?

My favorite movie is 'The Wizard of Oz' (1939)

Favorite Color?

My favorite color is purple because it's one of those colors that looks great on many things and it's one of the colors that's deemed "for the gays."
