Founded in 1983 and incorporated in 1993, The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center provides a safe gathering place for the lesbian, gay, bisexual,
transgender, queer, and supportive communities of Westchester County and the Hudson Valley region. The LOFT facilitates a wide range of
educational, health, social service, and recreational programs and advocates for improved services for the LGBTQ+ community. Our mission is to
further the cause of inclusion, diversity, and pride through education, advocacy, and celebration.
Position Overview:
The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center, is actively seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Marketing and Creative Communications to lead our
Creative Communications Department. Working in tandem with a dedicated Social Media & Creative Communications Associate, this dynamic duo
will be instrumental in amplifying our mission and enhancing the visibility of our organization. The ideal candidate will be a visionary creative
thinker with a robust background in strategic planning, brand management, and the application of cutting-edge marketing techniques with a high
level of understanding of the LGBTQ+ Community. Together, they will drive the evolution of our brand narrative and engagement strategies across

Principal Functions:
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies aligned with The LOFT's mission and
goals.
• Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of The LOFT's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all
communication channels.
• Campaign Development: Design and execute campaigns as identified and designated by the CEO, ensuring alignment with organizational
objectives.
• Online Presence: Develop and maintain The LOFT's visibility through engaging written materials and online content, including social
media platforms, website content, and other digital channels.
• Collateral Management: Manage the development, distribution, and maintenance of print and electronic collateral, including weekly
newsletters, brochures, OUT Spoken magazine, email blasts, and other promotional materials.
• Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets to ensure positive coverage of The LOFT's activities and
initiatives.
• Business Development: Manage our current business development partnerships and identify and pursue opportunities for new
partnerships, collaborations, and sponsorships to support the organization's growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns to promote The LOFT's programs, events, and advocacy efforts.
• Create and manage compelling content for various communication channels, including press releases, articles, and social media posts.
• Oversee the production and distribution of print and electronic collateral, ensuring consistent messaging and brand representation.
• Collaborate with the CEO and other departments to align marketing strategies with organizational goals.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve optimal results.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing innovations to ensure The LOFT remains at the forefront of
communication strategies.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in strategic planning, brand management, and creative marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
