The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center Elects Four New Board Members For 2022-2023 During Annual Meeting

The LOFT is excited to announce four new members to its Board of Directors. This past Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at The Board's Annual Meeting, The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center elected Valerie Danielle, Steve Kollias, Jamaul Webster, and Dan Weiller to its Board of Directors. This brings the number of board members to fifteen. Each new member brings with them a strong range of leadership experience in working with the LGBTQ+ Community.
Valerie Daniele (she/her/hers) is the Deputy Director for the Westchester County Human Rights Commission and brings with her a deep knowledge base of legal expertise involving Westchester County. Read full biography here.
Steve Kollias (he/him/his) is an educator who is passionate about fighting for equal rights. He's also a member of the Human Relations Commission for the City of Peekskill. Read full biography here.
Jamaul Webster (he/him/his) serves as Chief Development Officer at Educational Alliance where he helps to develop and implement a comprehensive annual fundraising strategy for a nonprofit network of community centers in downtown Manhattan, with over 600 employees, serving nearly 50,000 New Yorkers annually across 15 program sites. Dan Weiller (he/him/his) recently retired after a long career in New York State government including work in the Executive branch, Legislature, and State Comptroller’s office. He has also worked in New York City government and in the non-profit sector in the city and across the state. As a top press aide to some of New York’s most powerful elected officials, he provided strategic communications advice and helped to manage complex relationships with other elected officials and valued constituencies.
