It's a Block Party!

JOIN US--You're Invited!

On June 29th at 5:30 PM The City of White Plains and Fair Street USA is having a Community Art Exhibit and Block Party to celebrate fair housing on the White Plains Library Plaza!  The LOFT participated in this exhibition!
Miniature houses were built and designed by various civic groups in collaboration with artists with the objective of highlighting how discrimination housing affects communities.
There will be 10 houses set up as Fair Street USA and we will have a block party with a ribbon-cutting, food, music, art projects, t-shirts, and information.  Free for all, come and join the fun!

We have all just learned that our rights can be taken from us. This is why it's now more critical than ever to vote. Make your voice heard, your will known. Today is a key voting day: Primary Elections. We encourage every single person to be registered and to vote like your life depends on it.

The LOFT in partnership with Upstream Gallery is proud to present our new Juried Show: Queer Perspectives: A Celebration of LGBTQ+ Life, opening Thursday, June 23rd-July 17th, followed by our annual Works on Paper Show. Upstream Gallery's juried exhibits have grown to attract artists from around the region, the country, and around the world. 

Opens: Thursday, June 23
Opening Reception: Saturday, June 25th 5-8 pm
Closes: July 17th
Gallery hours: Thu. Fri. Sun. 12:30 to 5:30 pm; Sat. 10 am to 5:30 pm

Major News Event

The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center invites you to attend a press conference we are having on June 22nd-Wednesday at 2:30 pm at The LOFT Campus (252 Bryant Avenue, White Plains, NY) with Westchester County Executive George Latimer, White Plains Mayor Thomas Roach, our Executive Director, Judy Troilo, Westchester LGBTQ+ Advisory Member Michael Sabatino and other distinguished guests who will be making a groundbreaking announcement regarding an LGBTQ+ friendly senior housing development, the first in Westchester. There's also more good news!

You will not want to miss it! We will also be having lite refreshments served at the event. We hope to see you there! RSVP is not necessary but greatly appreciated.
