Workshop Spotlight: Employment and Housing Rights for Trans and Non-Binary Communities: Join us for a conversation on legal protections in housing and employment for trans and non-binary communities in Westchester County. Trans and non-binary people face high rates of discrimination and harassment at home and work, whether by landlords, superintendents, employers, neighbors, co-workers, or others. In this workshop, we will hold space as a community to discuss our experiences and concerns related to discrimination and hate in housing and employment, learn important information about our protections under local law, and have the option to participate in an art-based empowerment activity.
