Join The LOFT and DOROT as speaker Daniel Jackson LMSW discusses the importance of social connections!
DOROT Westchester is part of DOROT, a non-profit organization that has focused exclusively on enhancing vital social connections for older adults for almost 50 years. Their headquarters are in Manhattan and they have been engaging with the Westchester community since 2006. DOROT offers a variety of programs for older adults to receive visits in their homes from volunteers on a regular, occasional, or singular basis. DOROT also offers group programming for older adults, as well as intergenerational programs. Programs are in person, online, and even over the phone.
