Their drive to work in LGBTQ+ advocacy began when they were appointed the role of executive board president for GLOW of WCC (LGBTQ+ Club on Campus). This was the beginning of their experience working toward the heightened visibility and inclusion of the LGBTQ+ Community as a whole. Stevie currently holds a B.A. in Liberal Studies from Purchase College SUNY. Through their research as an undergrad, Stevie learned the ways in which we can provide a stronger sense of belonging among society as a minority group, and continues to learn new ways to this approach everyday by working alongside community organizations, volunteers, interns, and members of the LGBTQ+ community at The LOFT.
