November 17-Friday at 9:30 AM: Miles Borrero (He/They) is The TransForum's keynote speaker this year!  Prepare to be inspired!

Throughout his many lives, Miles Borrero has survived fronting a Latin rock band, riding horses competitively, acting on various stages across the US, and nannying a six-year-old. He has been Catholic, Jewish, and a frequent guest at Krishna’s house, and has lived life as a boy, a girl, a woman, a man, and something in between.

Learn more about his extraordinary journey as he sets the stage for an AMAZING Hudson ValleyTransForum!

IN 11 Days: Hudson Valley TransForum

Workshop Spotlight: Queering the Classroom: Centering TGNCNB Youth| 10-11:15 PM

Through the Equity X Design Framework, we are going to take a critical look at the idea of belonging that builds a brave space for all children, but centering TGNCNB Youth. We will discuss what it means to design at the margins, what a transformative classroom looks like, what transformative environments look like, and co-create & co-design with youth.

In 12 Days: Hudson Valley TransForum

Workshop Spotlight: Employment and Housing Rights for Trans and Non-Binary Communities: Join us for a conversation on legal protections in housing and employment for trans and non-binary communities in Westchester County. Trans and non-binary people face high rates of discrimination and harassment at home and work, whether by landlords, superintendents, employers, neighbors, co-workers, or others. In this workshop, we will hold space as a community to discuss our experiences and concerns related to discrimination and hate in housing and employment, learn important information about our protections under local law, and have the option to participate in an art-based empowerment activity.
